About the role#
This internship provides a project-based experience where you will manage your own area of responsibility while receiving guidance from a supervisor and technical mentor. You will join the team for a 4 or 8 month term starting in September 2026. This is a paid, full-time position designed to help you develop your professional strengths in a supportive environment.
What you'll do#
- Support company culture and ethical standards aligned with core corporate values.
- Assist in creating engaging content for social media and internal news stories.
- Capture company initiatives and project milestones through photography, videography, and written storytelling.
- Support website content updates, development, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure branding consistency across all external platforms and materials.
- Assist with the organization and management of promotional items and branded assets.
- Help plan and coordinate various events including client meetings, community functions, and industry trade shows.
- Support event logistics such as registration, guest hosting, and the assembly of event materials or booth displays.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Completion of at least one semester of education following the internship.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change occurs frequently.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with or a desire to learn Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving goals.
