About the role#
As a Commissioning Intern, you will support technical teams by performing basic engineering tasks. You will work under direct supervision, handling basic issues while learning organizational processes. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Coppell, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Learn internal processes and contribute to assigned projects.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project documentation and records.
- Manage record and filing systems, including drafting standards and data resources.
- Organize and store engineering records such as maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural drawings.
- Collect and code data from various sources.
- Review existing records to identify necessary revisions and prepare updated data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program within a technical field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of attentiveness to detail.
- Ability to follow directions and perform tasks under supervision.
Location & details#
- Location: Coppell, Texas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Travel: Up to 5% of the time to job sites or office locations.
- Physical requirements: Ability to perform light work, including moving objects up to 20 pounds, and remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
