About the role#
This is a paid, full-time engineering internship based in Metairie, Louisiana. You will work on-site under direct supervision, supporting technical staff with basic engineering tasks. This role follows a rolling term structure.
What you'll do#
- Learn organizational processes and contribute to assigned projects.
- Organize and store engineering records, including maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural drawings.
- Assist with record and filing systems, drafting techniques, and data resource duties.
- Collect and code data for input procedures.
- Review existing records for necessary revisions and prepare data.
- Help maintain documentation and records.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attentiveness to detail and the ability to follow directions.
Location & details#
- Location: Metairie, Louisiana.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Travel: You may travel to job sites or office locations up to 5% of the time.
- Physical requirements include remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods, climbing stairs, and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
