About the role#
This internship offers students interested in mechanical installations for hospitals, hotels, and institutional facilities a chance to gain practical experience. You will work under the supervision of Project Managers and departmental staff to support project estimating and business operations.
What you'll do#
- Create a master checklist of goals and expectations to guide your work.
- Collect information and maintain files, databases, spreadsheets, and schedules.
- Prepare reports and presentations.
- Attend jobsite and departmental meetings.
- Participate in safety inspections, jobsite tours, and internal learning events.
- Study company policies and procedures.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university studying Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related business major.
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior academic standing.
- Reliable daily transportation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with daily supervision.
- Punctuality and a positive attitude toward coworkers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- A safety-conscious mindset regarding tools and equipment.

- Location: Rochester, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: Paid position.
- Physical requirements: Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds, climb stairs, and perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, or kneeling for prolonged periods.
