About the role#
Bernhard is hiring an Engineering Intern to support our technical teams in Fayetteville. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term. You will work under direct supervision while gaining experience in utility system construction. You will handle basic tasks and learn our internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to assigned engineering projects.
- Organize and store maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural records.
- Assist with record and filing systems.
- Collect and code data for input procedures.
- Review existing records and prepare data for revisions.
- Learn and follow organizational processes and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical field.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions and handle basic technical problems.
- A beginning to working knowledge of engineering subject matter.
Location & details#
- Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Travel: Up to 5% of the time to job sites or office locations.
- Physical requirements: Light work involving moving objects up to 20 pounds, standing or sitting for long periods, and climbing stairs.
