About the role#
As a Commissioning Intern, you will support technical staff on projects related to your field of study. You will work under direct supervision to handle basic tasks and learn how our organization functions. This position is a full-time, paid opportunity based on-site in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
What you'll do#
- Learn our internal processes and procedures.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project documentation and records.
- Organize and store engineering records, including maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural drawings.
- Collect and code data for input procedures.
- Review existing records to prepare data and identify necessary revisions.
- Contribute to assigned projects as directed by team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in a technical field.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow specific directions.
- Capacity to perform light physical work, such as moving objects up to 20 pounds.

- Location: Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, rolling term.
- Travel: Up to 5% of the time may be required for visits to job sites or office locations.
