About the role#
Bernalillo County is hiring an IT College Intern to work within the Information Technology department. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Albuquerque. You will work on various projects while receiving mentorship and training from experienced staff to support your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and clerical support for daily department operations.
- Communicate with staff and clients to help maintain efficient workflows.
- Assist with entry-level tasks and services.
- Conduct research and help prepare reports, summaries, or recommendations.
- Help plan and execute special projects.
- Act as a liaison between departments to support coordination.
- Handle sensitive documents and information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or technical school.
- You must submit your class schedule, transcripts, or other documents verifying your enrollment with your application.
- Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer medical exam.
- A valid New Mexico driver license by the date of hire.
