About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in De Pere, Wisconsin. You will work on-site to support various areas of the business unit. The goal is for you to learn the role, master it, and eventually contribute at a level comparable to a full-time engineer. You will also help improve the internship program for those who follow you.
What you'll do#
- Identify and solve basic problems using fundamental factors.
- Assist with the resolution of quality issues.
- Analyze competitive products.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a food safety culture by adhering to Safe Quality Foods requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at an accredited university in a quality-related field, such as Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or Packaging.
- Ability to communicate professionally and answer questions in a friendly manner.
- Skill in analyzing information, preparing written materials, and articulating action steps.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow explicit written or oral instructions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for 15% of your work time and 10 pounds for 30% of your work time.
- Ability to stand or walk for 70% of your work time and sit for 30%.
- Ability to distinguish colors and maintain clear vision at various distances.
- Regular attendance is required, and you may be asked to work overtime.

- Work environment: You will spend time in both office and manufacturing settings, with potential exposure to noise, vibrations, and chemical odors.
