About the role#
The Graduate School is hiring a Graduate Assistant to support the daily operations of the Graduate Admissions office. You will act as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors. This role helps ensure the office runs smoothly by providing administrative support and maintaining a welcoming environment.
What you'll do#
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
- Greet and assist guests at the front desk.
- Communicate with prospective and current graduate students.
- Process incoming mail and transcripts.
- Maintain organized records and assist with various office projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a master’s graduate program at Baylor University.
- Dependability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A pleasant, helpful, and courteous attitude toward faculty, staff, and students.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow university policies.
Location & details#
- Location: Morrison Hall, Suite 200, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: Minimum 15 hours per week between 8 AM and 5 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
