About the role#
The Office of Community Relations at Baylor University is looking for a student worker to assist with daily operations and outreach. You will support the division by managing administrative tasks, coordinating local programming, and helping with digital communications. This role requires travel throughout Waco to capture content and deliver materials.
What you'll do#
- Support the Baylor Waco Perks program operations and promotions.
- Create and post content for community-focused social media channels.
- Assist with campus initiatives such as Waco Day, New Student Orientation, and Family Weekend.
- Provide operational support for events like TEDxBaylor University and the Waco Sports Commission Corporate Cup.
- Write and develop digital newsletters and publications.
- Greet visitors and handle incoming correspondence including phone calls and mail.
- Maintain office records, file documents, and assist with data entry or spreadsheets.
- Organize office supplies and common areas.
- Travel around Waco to take photos and deliver materials.

- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of information.
Location & details#
- Location: Robinson Tower 332, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, and 10 to 15 hours per week during the summer.
- Employment: Part-time, on-site, and ongoing.
