About the role#
The Sustainability Intern supports initiatives within dining halls and dining areas at Baylor University. You will gain hands-on experience by identifying ways to reduce waste, improve recycling, and promote resource use. This role helps increase sustainability awareness among students and dining teams.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operational support for daily tasks.
- Serve as a contact for guests and callers while providing customer service.
- Create content or maintain department websites.
- Generate and analyze reports or perform forecasting.
- Assist with planning events and special projects.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Maintain internal databases and records.
- Assist with compliance processes and the development of new procedures.

Location & details#
- This position is based in Waco, Texas, at the resident dining halls.
- This is a part-time role requiring a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- The pay rate is $12 per hour.
