About the role#
As an Innovation Pipeline Co-Op, you will join an interdisciplinary team focused on Plant Biotech innovation. You will support the evaluation of projects across molecular and protein biology, entomology, and plant transformation. This role involves hands-on laboratory work to inform key project decisions.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the innovation team to evaluate and execute research projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, scientists, and stakeholders on experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Perform lab-based experiments that support project implementation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed research records to ensure compliance.
- Communicate project updates through regular meetings and scientific presentations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a PhD or master’s program in molecular biology, cell biology, plant physiology, protein biochemistry, entomology, or a related field.
- Experience with molecular and cell biology techniques, such as cloning and transformation.
- Practical experience with microscopy, microbiology, entomology, or macromolecular assays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
- Enthusiasm for hands-on bench work.
- Preferred: Experience with R, Python, Spotfire, or Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
