About the role#
The Banking Analyst Summer Internship Program 2027 is a 15-week opportunity designed for students in their penultimate year of university. Interns join the investment banking division to gain exposure to live deals, client transactions, and various specialist areas. This full-time, paid program provides an introduction to the industry through hands-on projects, mentorship, and professional development training.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on live deals and client pitches while supporting teams in advising corporate clients.
- Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support decision-making.
- Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, including responding to inquiries and processing transactions.
- Identify business opportunities, develop business cases, and assist in the launch of new products and services.
- Participate in formal training and development programs to enhance technical skills.
- Train and mentor junior colleagues as part of the team structure.
- Contribute to industry research, client due diligence, and the creation of presentation materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Finance or Business Administration, with a target graduation date within one year of the internship's conclusion.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Unrestricted work authorization in Canada.
- A keen interest in business and finance combined with a strong curiosity to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit.
