About the role#
This internship focuses on USD liquidity and funding coordination within the Treasury Department. You will support key initiatives including funding optimization, Broker CD issuance, and RMB business operations. The role requires a practical understanding of liquidity and funding management within a commercial banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Monitor daily operations on Nostro accounts and manage non-USD funding and liquidity.
- Prepare monthly Banking Book FX Hedging Effectiveness and Stress Testing reports.
- Assist the RMB liquidity and funding management team in implementing the Bank's RMB clearing business strategy and prepare related monthly reports.
- Support the management of the Bank's BCD issuance program, including market research, pricing, and funding plans.
- Maintain Excel templates for routine reporting and contribute to ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Serve as a backup for team members, specifically performing daily reviews and monitoring of non-USD Nostro accounts for accuracy and unusual activity.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with formulas.
- Knowledge related to liquidity and funding management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
