The Treasury Liquidity & Funding Management intern will assist with USD liquidity and funding coordination within the Treasury Department. This role supports key initiatives including funding optimization, Broker CD issuance, and RMB business operations. The intern will gain exposure to commercial banking liquidity and funding management operations.
What you'll do#
- Monitor daily operations on Nostro accounts and manage non-USD funding and liquidity.
- Prepare monthly reports on Banking Book FX Hedging Effectiveness, Stress Testing, and other non-USD funding requirements.
- Support the RMB liquidity and funding management team in executing RMB clearing business strategies and preparing related monthly reports.
- Assist with BCD issuance management, including market research, pricing, and funding planning.
- Maintain and update Excel templates for routine reporting and contribute to ad-hoc projects.
- Serve as a backup for team members, performing daily reviews and monitoring of non-USD Nostro accounts for accuracy and unusual activity.
What you'll need#
- A completed Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with complex formulas.
- Knowledge of liquidity and funding management in a commercial banking environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
