About the role#
Bank of China USA is seeking an intern to join the Human Resources Department within the Expatriate Management Team. This role supports the team in managing the expatriate lifecycle and ensuring the timely completion of administrative tasks.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with supervisors to implement expatriate management processes, including recruiting, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and returns.
- Monitor and maintain the legal status of expatriates in the U.S., including assisting with visa, passport, and renewal applications.
- Provide support to expatriates regarding cultural adaptation and safety, including mentoring programs and emergency assistance.
- Prepare official letters, reports, and documentation in Chinese for submission to the Head Office.
- Analyze expatriate turnover and staffing demands.
- Maintain and update the monthly Chinese staff list and provide quarterly reports.
- Manage and participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team and culture.
- Previous experience in expatriate management is considered a plus.
