About the role#
This internship provides students with practical learning experience in audio post-production within a professional studio environment. The program focuses on training, observation, and skill development in the areas of anime, television, and video game audio. Please note that this role focuses on post-production and does not involve music composition, scoring, or pre-production work.
What you'll do#
- Assist audio, production, and support teams with supervised tasks.
- Support preparatory work for engineers and recording sessions.
- Observe and assist with audio editing workflows.
- Help maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and functionality.
- Assist with daily runs between studio locations.
- Learn studio etiquette, professional workflows, and collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational program.
- Ability to receive academic credit for participation.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Pro Tools or a similar digital audio workstation.
- Professionalism, dependability, and the ability to follow direction.
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Majors considered include Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, Art, Psychology, Business Administration, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering.
Location & details#
- Location: Burbank, California.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Commitment: Minimum 10 to 13 weeks, at least 2 days per week (8 hours per day).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship for academic credit only.
