About the role#
Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking 2nd and 3rd semester students from Ross University to serve as Student Representatives. This role acts as a primary liaison between the university faculty and students and an assigned Banfield Medical Director. This is a paid position with a stipend of $1,250 per semester.
What you'll do#
- Represent Banfield Pet Hospital professionally and promote the company mission and vision to peers.
- Assist the Student Programs team and your assigned Medical Director in arranging campus visits, including reserving rooms, arranging catering, and preparing event materials.
- Participate in campus presentations and provide follow-up communication with students and Banfield leadership.
- Distribute flyers, posters, and other collateral to the student body and faculty in accordance with school vendor policies.
- Inform the Student Programs team about relevant student activities, such as job fairs or open houses, that may serve as opportunities for Banfield participation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a veterinary medicine program at a School or College of Veterinary Medicine.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated organizational ability and a systematic approach to completing assignments.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities under distracting conditions without loss of accuracy.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
