Student Representative - Ross University

About the role#

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking 2nd and 3rd semester Ross University students to serve as Student Representatives. This role acts as a primary liaison between the university faculty and students and an assigned Banfield Medical Director. This is a paid position offering a $1,250 stipend per semester.

What you'll do#

• Represent Banfield Pet Hospital professionally while promoting the company's mission and vision to peers.
• Assist the Student Programs team and your assigned Medical Director with campus visits, including reserving meeting rooms, arranging catering, and preparing event materials.
• Participate in campus presentations and provide follow-up communication with students and the Banfield team.
• Distribute flyers, posters, and digital collateral to the student body and faculty in accordance with school vendor policies.
• Inform the Student Programs team of relevant campus activities, such as job fairs, open houses, and student association events.
• Attend Banfield-sponsored conferences and educational meetings as appropriate.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a veterinary medicine program at a School or College of Veterinary Medicine.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated organizational ability and a systematic approach to managing assignments.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities under distracting conditions without loss of accuracy.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
