About the role#
Ballston Spa National Bank offers a paid, year-round internship at our Corporate Plaza in Ballston Spa. This role provides experience for students interested in a marketing career within the banking industry. You will work up to 16 hours per week during the school semester and full-time during breaks and summer.
What you'll do#
- Research community sponsorship and donation requests.
- Perform competitive rate and pricing surveys.
- Handle marketing requests from our branch network.
- Draft content for social media and the company website.
- Prepare news releases and research industry trends.
- Assist with bank events and promotions.
- Create graphics for digital signage and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
What you'll need#
- Status as an undergraduate student entering your junior or senior year, or a graduate student.
- Major in Marketing, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to provide a college transcript and two letters of recommendation from your school.

- Compensation: 17.00 to 19.00 dollars per hour.
