About the role#
Ballston Spa National Bank offers a paid, year-round internship for students interested in a career in marketing. This role is based at our Corporate Plaza in Ballston Spa and provides hands-on experience in a banking environment. You will work up to 16 hours per week during the school semester, with the opportunity to work full-time during breaks and the summer.
What you'll do#
- Research community sponsorship and donation requests.
- Conduct competitive rate and pricing surveys.
- Support the branch network by fulfilling marketing requests.
- Write content for social media, websites, and news releases.
- Research current industry trends.
- Assist with company events and promotional activities.
- Design graphics for digital signage and marketing materials if you have experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student entering your junior or senior year, or as a graduate student.
- A major in Marketing, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to provide a college transcript and two letters of recommendation.
