About the role#
We are looking for students to join our team in Florida for a Co-Op position during the Fall 2026 or Winter 2027 terms. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will work alongside our project teams to gain practical experience in construction management and operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage project budgets by controlling expenditures and coordinating owner and subcontractor billings.
- Identify work not covered by subcontractors and provide office support for cost and schedule management.
- Assist with Safety and Quality Control programs and coordinate actions to address site issues.
- Review and process submittal data, shop drawings, and coordinate deliveries with the Superintendent.
- Monitor weekly and monthly status reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Update as-built plans with changes, directives, and RFIs.
- Maintain RFI and change request logs.
- Attend meetings with architects and owner representatives to track project progress.
- Learn company procedures and correspondence processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to organize your own work and manage tasks effectively.
- A willingness to learn new skills quickly and participate in training or team meetings.
- An interest in construction details such as miscellaneous metals, casework, doors, and specialties.
- Prior commercial construction internship or work experience is preferred but not required.
