About the role#
The Insights Fellow will analyze and apply market research, data, and analytics to support public affairs, government, business, advocacy, and communications projects. Working within the Audience Intelligence and Performance department, you will use advanced data tools to track issues and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations. The program typically runs for six months with the possibility of extension or promotion based on performance and availability.
What you'll do#
- Learn and utilize data and insights tools to evaluate trends in news, social media, advertising, and public policy.
- Support client teams and new business initiatives by integrating unique data insights into strategies.
- Research issues, people, and organizations relevant to client initiatives in the public, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.
- Assist in the development of thought leadership, including white papers, webinars, and earned media placements.
- Collaborate with public affairs teams and stakeholders on short and long-term projects.
What you'll need#
- Relevant experience, education, or interest in data analytics, research, advertising, communications, or media.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work quickly and decisively to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Academic background in Data Science, Communications, Political Science, Business Administration, Marketing, Media Studies, Psychology, or Journalism.
