About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Utility Worker to join the team at Tiffin University. This position requires availability during evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using the dish machine or by hand.
- Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and organized.
- Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in the proper areas.
- Receive product deliveries from vendors and organize stock.
- Sort and remove trash to designated pickup spots.
- Clean and rotate items in the walk-in cooler.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Ability to handle continuous physical effort, such as frequent bending, walking, and lifting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and high customer service standards.
- Previous dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
