About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker at Goshen College. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date. You will work on-site to support daily dining operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by monitoring temperature requirements and preventing spoilage.
- Set up service stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Serve guests in dining and retail areas while following service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize your workstation and equipment.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and client representatives.
