About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring current students to join our campus food service team in Anderson. This is a part-time position that requires a flexible schedule to work around your classes.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by monitoring temperature requirements and checking for spoilage.
- Set up stations with soups, salads, breads, entrées, condiments, and utensils.
- Serve guests in dining and retail areas while following service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations according to safety rules.
- Manage multiple tasks at once to keep operations running smoothly.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student on campus.
- Ability to maintain a flexible part-time work schedule.
- Strong work ethic and professional communication skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with team members, supervisors, and customers.
