About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a part-time Student Food Service Worker at Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role follows a set schedule from 12pm to 8pm.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature guidelines to prevent spoilage.
- Set up stations with soups, salads, breads, entrées, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in the dining, serving, and retail areas.
- Follow guest service procedures, including greeting customers.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations according to regulatory rules.
- Manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining a steady pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members and other departments.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with supervisors, managers, vendors, and customers.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
