About the role#
We are hiring a Student Food Service Worker to join our team at Bryant University. This is a full-time, paid position with flexible scheduling to accommodate your class commitments. We are looking for individuals who can work on-site in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food correctly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with soups, salads, entrées, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Serve guests in retail and dining areas while following service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations.
- Manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining an efficient pace.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members, managers, and customers.
- Previous experience in food service is preferred.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and client representatives.
