About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the insurance industry. You will work with a team to manage claims, support policyholders, and assist agents. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Investigate claims by phone, mail, and on-site visits.
- Gather facts to determine policy coverage and legal liability.
- Evaluate the amount of loss for each claim.
- Ensure payments are accurate and sent on time.
- Support the needs of agents and policyholders.
- Study insurance policies, forms, and endorsements to build your knowledge.
- Assist with resolutions, which may include attending mediations, depositions, or trials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college, entering your junior or senior year.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and interpret data.
- Capacity to manage multiple assignments at once.
- Skill in resolving complex issues.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
