About the role#
We are looking for a Claims Representative intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work on-site in Duluth, Georgia. This is a full-time, paid position at $21.00 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Investigate claims and gather facts to determine policy coverage and evaluate losses.
- Analyze legal liability and process claim payments accurately.
- Study insurance policies, forms, and endorsements to build your product knowledge.
- Manage investigations through phone calls, mail, and on-site visits.
- Attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as needed.
- Support the needs of our policyholders and agents.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a college student entering your junior or senior year.
- You are pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You have the ability to organize and interpret data to resolve complex issues.
- You are detail oriented and can handle multiple assignments.
- You must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
