About the role#
Auto-Owners Insurance is hiring for a Business/Quality Analyst intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lansing, Michigan. You will work directly with our teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
What you'll do#
- Act as a liaison between business and technology teams.
- Lead meetings with business, technology, and quality assurance groups.
- Define requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and documentation review.
- Develop business requirements and associated business rules.
- Write test plans and perform high-level testing.
- Document and report testing results.
- Work with subject matter experts to support the implementation of business requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in college and entering your junior or senior year.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Operations Management.
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in learning business processes.
- Ability to use a PC and standard business software.
- A willingness to learn new software tools.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and organize data.

- Location: Lansing, Michigan.
- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
- Sponsorship: Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
