About the role#
The 2027 Summer Accounting Internship Program at Austin Industrial, Inc. offers exposure to the financial operations of a large construction company. Interns work directly with the accounting team to gain hands-on experience with month-end close processes and project financial analysis. This is a 12-week, full-time, paid position based at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly SGA departments.
- Prepare and enter journal entries.
- Assist in the mid-year forecast process.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports.
- Assist various accounting sub-departments on special projects.
What you'll need#
- Active status as a junior or senior college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A targeted graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work effectively in project teams.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
