About the role#
The Frederick Keys Marketing Intern role is for current university students seeking academic credit. You will work alongside our marketing team to build professional experience, engage with fans, and support the organization through various marketing and event-based tasks. This is a part-time, unpaid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Promote events and team promotions by distributing marketing materials in the community.
- Help manage social media coverage for public appearances and events.
- Create promotional materials, including graphics for print and web, fliers, and registration forms.
- Produce and post video content for our social media channels.
- Represent the organization at community events and appearances.
- Serve as the team mascot, Keyote, when requested.
- Assist with in-game content creation, including stills, videos, and ribbon board displays.
- Support the marketing team during home games and events held at Nymeo Field.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a college sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student working toward academic credit in Sport Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or Graphic Design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Facebook, Instagram, and X.
- Practical experience with Adobe Photoshop or other Adobe software.
- A commitment to maintaining our customer service standards.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
