About the role#
The Marketing & Social Media Intern supports digital marketing and community engagement efforts for the organization. This position offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, email marketing, and project management within a sports environment. Interns will receive training in digital marketing fundamentals and professional communication.
What you'll do#
- Create and schedule content across all social media platforms.
- Draft and prepare content for weekly newsletters and promotional email campaigns.
- Support event marketing by capturing photos and videos at games and tournaments.
- Research community partners and current marketing trends.
- Update website content.

- Experience with social media management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with content creation and digital marketing.

Location & details#
- Location: Uniondale, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week required in-office.
- Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per week, with occasional weekend availability required for event coverage.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Eligibility: Open to students in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
