About the role#
We are looking for a Water Resources Engineering Intern to join our Denver team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will gain hands-on experience in hydraulic and hydrologic engineering. You will work under the guidance of project engineers to support various infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with water resources analyses, design development, and technical tasks.
- Contribute to data collection, modeling, calculations, and engineering evaluations.
- Communicate design concepts and technical recommendations through engineering drawings, exhibits, reports, and construction documents.
- Help prepare and organize project deliverables, including plan sets and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to learn industry standards and project delivery processes.
- Develop your technical and professional skills through mentorship and training programs.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 60 hours toward a civil or environmental engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by Summer 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
