About the role#
We are looking for a Project Engineering Intern to join our team in Denver for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position. You will work with our Aviation project teams to support the delivery of infrastructure and facilities programs.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team in developing and reviewing plans, schedules, estimates, and procedures.
- Coordinate operations within the unit to ensure consistency with company policies.
- Observe contractor work on construction sites and perform quality assurance activities.
- Perform non-manual field work to observe construction contracts and related tasks.
- Coordinate directly with the field lead or internal project manager.
- Document construction activities by maintaining daily diaries and payment reports.
- Participate in internal quality control checks, including reviewing designs, drawings, and computations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in a related technical field.
- Completion of 60 credit hours toward a degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, architecture, or construction management from an ABET accredited program by Summer 2027.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
- Physical ability to walk long distances, climb ladders, stoop, squat, and crawl.
- Ability to distinguish colors and perceive safety warnings like back-up alarms.
