About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Bridge Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position based on-site in Orlando, Florida. You will work alongside our engineering team to gain practical experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Perform design calculations for bridges and civil structures.
- Support senior engineers by preparing reinforcement lists, quantity take-offs, and redlines.
- Review shop drawings to ensure they comply with design plans.
- Complete assigned technical training courses for your career development.
What you'll need#
- You must be a junior student who has completed at least 90 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship.
- Previous experience working with a team in a professional setting.
- An interest in learning analysis software, including MathCAD, Excel, and bridge modeling tools.
