About the role#
ATCO is hiring engineering students for the Natural Gas Division starting in January 2027. These are full-time, paid co-op positions based on-site in Edmonton and Calgary. You may choose a term length of 8, 12, or 16 months. You will work with engineering mentors to support the design, maintenance, and operation of natural gas systems across Alberta.
What you'll do#
- Review and prepare design drawings for pipelines and regulator stations.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project decisions.
- Lead and support initiatives aimed at improving business processes.
- Collect and analyze data from engineering projects.
- Provide administrative support to construction and field operations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate engineering co-op program at a recognized Canadian university.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely using technical vocabulary.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license.
