    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in San Francisco, California, as part of our Propulsion team. We look for students currently enrolled in a four-year university program who are ready to contribute to meaningful engineering projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, analyze, build, and test propulsion system hardware.
    • Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects to support broader company initiatives.
    • Apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges and build professional team skills.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
    • Understanding of spacecraft systems and operation, gained through coursework or student organizations.
    • Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
    • Familiarity with spacecraft design, specifically chemical or electrical propulsion.
    • Experience with Python.
    • Prior test experience with spacecraft propulsion systems.
    • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
