About the role#
This internship is a twelve-week, full-time position for students currently enrolled at a four-year university. You will join the engineering team to contribute to the software that powers our satellite technology. This includes both embedded software running on satellites and the ground control and testing software used to support them.
What you'll do#
- Design, write, and test software for satellite and ground systems.
- Collaborate with engineers on technical projects.
- Gain hands-on experience by building software from scratch.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Experience with C/C++ and at least one scripting language.
- A demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.
- Experience with bare metal embedded systems, real-time operating systems, or FPGA/DSP programming is a plus.

- This role is based on-site in San Francisco, California.
- The term for this internship is Summer 2027.
- The pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.
