About the role#
As an Electrical Integration Intern, you will join an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software. You will work alongside Electrical, Mechanical, Radio Frequency, and Propulsion engineering teams to develop assembly and integration test plans. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop assembly and integration test procedures based on existing designs.
- Learn to operate test equipment, such as thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, and oscilloscopes, to execute test plans.
- Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems within integrated systems.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
- Recent graduates within the last 6 months or students currently in a post-graduate program are eligible.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in hardware development.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status is required to comply with export regulations.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience designing and testing complex electrical systems.
- Preferred: Experience using Python to interface with test equipment, process datasets, and visualize data.
- Preferred: Direct electrical or software design experience and the ability to debug problems under pressure.

- This role is based in San Francisco, California.
- You must be onsite 5 days a week.
- The pay rate for this position is $29.00 per hour.
