About the role#
Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Engineering Co-op Student for the Fall 2026 term at our Brantford, Ontario facility. You will work with the Project Engineer to support manufacturing improvements, facility upgrades, and product development initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering and manufacturing projects to improve production efficiency.
- Develop and update plant layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist with equipment installations and the start-up of new products.
- Contribute to process optimization and line efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure all work complies with GMP, food safety standards, and health and safety policies.
- Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary degree or diploma program in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekend availability required.
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
