About the role#
This co-op position supports the Quality Validation Engineering team in Ave Maria, Florida. You will work with the engineering staff to qualify equipment and validate processes used to manufacture medical implants and instruments. This role is a full-time, on-site opportunity running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare, execute, and document validation protocols.
- Assist with ongoing CNC machining, injection molding, and cleaning validations.
- Inspect parts for validation studies.
- Perform statistical data analysis using Minitab.
- Assist in the software validation of inspection measurement systems.
- Draft protocol reports, content, and data assessments.
- Write protocol deviations and assist with investigations.
- Communicate project issues accurately and on time.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a bachelor’s degree program for engineering, or recent graduation within the last six months.
- Preference for sophomores or juniors studying Mechanical, Biomedical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong technical writing skills are preferred.
- Prior experience with statistical data analysis in Minitab is preferred.
