About the role#
This co-op position supports the Design Quality Engineering team in Naples, Florida. You will work on risk management projects, sustaining activities, and non-conformance investigations. This is a full-time role running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Update Risk Management files, including dFMEAs and pFMEAs, as part of remediation efforts.
- Add information relevant to device safety into existing files.
- Review internal and external data to find documentation gaps.
- Assist with Design History Files (DHF) remediation.
- Handle other quality engineering tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time senior pursuing an engineering degree, preferably in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Bioengineering.
- Recent graduates are eligible if they are within six months of their graduation date.
- Strong communication skills for both oral and written tasks.
- Ability to solve technical problems and apply mathematical principles.
- Skill in interpreting technical instructions provided in diagrams or mathematical form.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
