About the role#
Argus Companies seeks an engineering intern to assist with the planning and design of fuel storage and distribution systems. You will work alongside professional engineers on projects for commercial aviation and military facilities. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Overland Park, Kansas.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning and design of fueling systems.
- Support engineering calculations, analysis, and technical evaluations.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.
- Use design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Plant 3D.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Participate in project meetings to learn industry standards and best practices.
- Support construction and field-related activities.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering program.
- An interest in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls & Integration Engineering.
