About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Public Works Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This role supports the planning, design, and construction of public works projects. You will gain exposure to engineering workflows, build technical skills, and explore a career in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing basic plan details, drawings, and calculations.
- Support the development of technical specifications and project documentation.
- Draft sections of technical reports or memorandums.
- Participate in field visits to observe tests, take measurements, and collect field data.
- Use software to complete assignments and provide general support to project teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic.
