About the role#
We are looking for a student intern to join our Transportation team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This position offers exposure to drainage design, highway and airfield design, and civil engineering site design projects. You will work on a variety of local, national, and international assignments during the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Handle transportation design and drafting tasks using Bentley OpenRoads Designer and other roadway design software.
- Collaborate with senior designers and engineering teams to solve problems.
- Create high quality design documents.
- Prepare and check design computations and quantity estimates.
- Perform occasional field related tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year college or university with a minimum status of a Sophomore.
- Active pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Previous experience with engineering design and analysis software is a plus.
