About the role#
Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern to join our Transportation team in Baton Rouge. This role offers the opportunity to work on drainage, highway, intersection, and civil engineering site design projects. You will gain hands-on experience while supporting local, national, and international engineering efforts.
What you'll do#
- Complete transportation design and drafting tasks using Microstation or AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with task leads and design teams to solve engineering problems and create design documents.
- Prepare and check design computations and quantity estimates.
- Perform occasional field-related tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year college or university with at least Sophomore standing.
- Active pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Previous experience with engineering design and analysis software is a plus.
