About the role#
Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern to join the Transportation Construction Services department in Salt Lake City for the summer of 2027. You will work alongside senior engineers and inspectors on a variety of construction management projects, ranging from local agency work to major interstate developments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the oversight of infrastructure projects during the construction phase.
- Learn quality metrics, testing requirements, and inspection duties.
- Prepare field work calculations and daily reports.
- Coordinate project activities with other team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program, with at least sophomore standing.
- Ability to obtain Engineering-In-Training status.
- A preference for a Construction Management emphasis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A driving record in good standing.
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment and an eagerness to learn new tasks.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- The role is paid.
- You may be required to work extended hours, with an anticipated schedule of 40 or more hours per week.
