About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Egg Harbor Township. You will work under supervision to apply standard engineering techniques to municipal infrastructure projects. This role involves gaining experience in the design and development process for public works, including roadway, utility, and site improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level civil engineering tasks for municipal infrastructure projects.
- Assist with design work for roadway, drainage, stormwater, utility, water, and wastewater systems.
- Support engineers with data collection, technical calculations, reports, and project specifications.
- Prepare plans, maps, and project documentation.
- Conduct field investigations and site visits to document existing infrastructure conditions.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including municipalities, utility companies, and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Interest in municipal infrastructure and working with local government agencies.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
