About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for the summer 2027 term. This paid, full-time position is based in Nampa, Idaho. You will support engineering assignments on projects for municipalities and public agencies, gaining exposure to real-world work and building technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and analysis of water/wastewater treatment facilities, distribution systems, and collection networks.
- Prepare engineering drawings, reports, technical memoranda, and specifications.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, and material quantity take-offs.
- Participate in field investigations, field tests, measurements, and site inspections.
- Contact vendors to obtain budgetary quotes and assist in developing construction cost estimates.
- Support permitting, regulatory compliance documentation, and project scheduling.
- Review design drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
