About the role#
Ardurra is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern for our Cherry Hill, New Jersey office. You will work with our engineering team on building structures and various structural systems. This role offers hands-on experience with the design and construction process while you learn from experienced engineers.
What you'll do#
- Assist with structural design and analysis for building structures.
- Support engineers with basic calculations, load checks, reports, and project specifications.
- Prepare structural drawings, details, plans, and sections.
- Review project documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Support field investigations and site visits to document existing structural conditions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
